The Spaarpomp Exhaust Air Heat Pump (EAHP) provides centralised mechanical extract ventilation (cMEV) and hybrid heating in combination with a gas/oil boiler via radiators or underfloor (UFH)
This Spaarpomp is an non-intrusive hybrid heat pump solution ideal for decarbonising existing residential heating systems. It uses the waste heat from the extract ventilation through a heat pump cycle to provide the base load for heating in the dwelling with the gas/oil boiler satisfying peak heating loads. The full DHW load will continue to be supplied by the existing gas/oil boiler. European emissions targets are ensuring that the existing housing sector needs to action their current housing stock. To hit these country based targets, numerous governmental incentives for homeowners, local authorities and private developers have been made available to decarbonise their current fossil fuel systems.
